Who I desire to be!

Konsequence. For every action there is a reaction, what is the reaction to my work. The barbed wire talks about the dangerous reaction to make irresponsible decisions. I want my work to be the barbed wire of society, what are we doing and how can we make our world right?

-quality narrative
-in touch with my community
-know my viewer base and really cater to them and their needs
-clean design, little clutter
-detailed social commentary
-design that will make you think
-not just shit bro that was cool, but why am i living this way, what causes me to take the actions that i am.

Recovery

So with great effort I recovered and made six pages to discuss my case study. It is not as in depth as I could probably have gone, however I made due with having talked to six firms and none of them helping. Similar to the AIGA layout each page talks about a different step in the project process. The links are at the top of my blog page and are in chronological order.

Kinda Fucked

So I called Five design firms to discuss their projects and more to fill out my study. I did however find some info on Office's work on a Pirate Shop they created for 826 Valencia and some super cool pictures.

So I am doing my case study on Michelle Brook's "Back Your Block" project. I had a chance to talk with her on the phone and she agreed to email me responses to my questions. Pretty stoked on how willing she was to help me out. The Back Your Block project was created for Nike to promote young and active people struggling in urban communities. Michelle created all the promotional work, packaging and web material for the campaign and did a really great job (she was runner up in AIGA's cause and effect contest. I really look forward to exploring her process and what made her create such in inspirational piece!
